2 operated internationally
Support for this project in Gaza raised $A40,000 in a few months that was sent to our partner charity RBB (Refugees Biriyani and Bananas) for the purchase of food and aid in Gaza. Many youth, widows and their children are housed in Shariya camp in Kurdistan after their release from ISIS. This year we supported the work of our partner charity Springs of Hope Foundation at this camp by assisting in the purchase of a powered cultivator and small tractor for the Garden of Hope after raising $A11,000. Additionally, $A500 was raised to assist with a heart surgery operation for one of the children in the camp. As in previous years we provided $A6,500 to the charity The Lotus Flower for the purchase of winter clothes for children in Kurdish refugee camps.
